When Aubree was diagnosed with Stage 3 Neuroblastoma, which is a rare form of cancer of the nerve tissue, her tumor was wrapped around her spinal cord. Even after surgery, to safely remove what physicians could, she suffered paralysis in her lower extremities. Her parents wanted to make sure she could enjoy many childhood activities like riding a bike. Thanks to supporters like you, SMILE was able to provide Aubree with a bubble gum-colored hand cycle and a princess helmet that would provide her exercise, mobility, and happiness.
